Filmmaker Tahir Hussain, Aamir Khan’s father, passed away early Tuesday morning following a massive cardiac arrest at his Bandra residence.He was in his early 70s.Aamir and his wife Kiran Rao were holidaying in Los Angeles when they heard about Hussain’s sudden death.They are on their way back to Mumbai and are expected to be here by today evening for the funeral.

Shot in Hyderabad the film stars Boman Irani, Minissha Lamba in pivotal roles along with Sammir Dattani, Ila Arun, Sonali Kulkarni, Ravi Kishen, Rajit Kapur, Ravi Jhankal and Yashpal Sharma. The music of the film is given by Shantanu Moitra. Ila Arun, Swanand Kirkire and Ashok Mishra have penned the lyrics.
